What are you hobbies? I love to do arts and crafts. I think you can say that I have an inner Martha Stewart in me. I actually enjoy it so much that I started a club called Art & Design at school. I also really enjoy playing the piano. I’ve been playing since I was 4 but only recently really appreciated it. When I’m feeling down or extremely happy, I just play the world away. I love composing my own music.
Tell us something you find interesting about yourself. When I look at the world, I see everything in an artistic point of view. With my love in photography, fashion and art, the ordinary things in life are transformed in my eyes. My mind is almost always thinking in design perspective.
How would you describe your personal style? My style varies from day to day. When it comes to what I wear, my outfits are determined by my mood and interests at the moment. I guess you can say my style is the emotions that exist in the world. Although it differs during times, I do tend to gravitate toward clean, simple and chic.
Where does your personal style come from (i.e., what inspires your personal style)? My initial personal style came from my mom. She has an amazing taste (and closet) in fashion. As I became more interested in fashion and became more conscious in my style, fashion bloggers became my inspiration. When I come across a style or piece of clothing that I like on someone’s blog, I keep a mental note of it and try to incorporate it into my own style.
What’s your favorite place to shop? My favorite place to shop is technically not a store. I love shopping in my mom’s closet. Luckily she was the same size as me when she was younger so her closet is like the perfect vintage shop where everything fits you.
Why do you care about fashion? I’ve known my desire to become a fashion designer since I was 10. Although I don’t know exactly what inspired me to gravitate toward this field, throughout the years, numerous occasions and discoveries pushed me to love and grow a stronger passion for fashion. I care for fashion because it’s an art form. It’s unique and beautiful and can teach people to never be afraid of people judging your clothes or you.
I have been searching for Katleene’s blog but I couldn’t find it. If you have it can you give it to me? Thanks ^_~
